GEORGETOWN, TX, January 27, 2022 – Embree Development Group, Inc., a national single tenant, build-to-suit developer with headquarters in Georgetown, Texas, has announced Philip Annis has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer.  Philip will also continue to serve as the company’s President.  Jim Embree, the former Chief Executive Officer of Embree Development Group, Inc., will continue to provide guidance and leadership to the company as its new Executive Chairman.

According to Jim Embree, “Philip has been a key part of the Embree Group of Companies for over 25 years.  His tireless and dedicated efforts were instrumental in launching our real estate development practice which perfectly complements the full array of turnkey services we now offer to our clients.”

Philip holds a Texas Real Estate Broker’s license, is a member of the Innovating Commerce Serving Communities, and is a past participant of the Professional Advisory Boards for both the College of Construction Science, and the Master’s program for Land Development at Texas A&M University.  Philip will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for each of the Embree Group of Companies and remains Executive Vice President of Embree Construction Group, Inc. and Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc.

Rick Crowe, who continues to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board, General Counsel and Safety Director for Embree Construction Group, Inc., Embree Development Group, Inc. and Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc. is also now a shareholder in all three companies.
