GEORGETOWN, TX, January 21, 2022 – Embree Construction Group, Inc., a commercial builder with over four decades of experience working across the United States, announced senior staffing changes which began at the start of 2022.
Jim Embree has been promoted to Executive Chairman (formerly Chief Executive Officer); Frank Krenek has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer (formerly President); and Cory Delz has been promoted to President (formerly Executive VP) and added as a member of the Board of Directors and a new shareholder for Embree Construction Group, Inc. Cory will oversee more than 150 construction professionals.
According to Jim Embree, “I speak for myself, the other eleven shareholders, Executive Management, and all employees in congratulating Cory in his promotion to President of Embree Construction Group and welcoming him as a shareholder. Cory is the right person to lead us into the future, assuring Embree Construction continues to provide exceptional service to our clients while maintaining our values and caring for our employees and community.”
Cory Delz began his career with Embree Construction as an intern, and in 2005 joined Embree Construction full-time as an Assistant Project Manager. During his tenure, Cory has successfully completed numerous commercial, retail and medical projects across the United States, some in excess of $20M. These projects include everything from open store remodels to full site development ground up construction for both startups and Fortune 500 companies. Cory’s main priority and focus is to make sure Embree’s clients are receiving an exceptional customer service experience. Cory has a passion for motivating and inspiring others to work with positive attitudes, enthusiasm, and the desire to improve and advance themselves. Cory holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Science from Texas A&M University.
Frank Krenek will continue to provide guidance and leadership to the company as its new Chief Executive Officer, ensuring a seamless and successful transition of leadership. Frank is also a Texas A&M graduate with a degree in Construction Science and continues to be involved with Texas A&M as a 30-year member of the Association of Former Students and has served on the Construction Sciences Department Board of Advisors. Frank will continue to serve as a member of the Board of Directors for each of the Embree Group of Companies and remains Executive Vice President of Embree Development Group, Inc. and Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc.
Rick Crowe, who continues to serve as Vice Chairman of the Board, General Counsel and Safety Director for Embree Construction Group, Inc., Embree Development Group, Inc. and Embree Capital Markets Group, Inc. is also now a shareholder in all three companies.
